Gordon C. Keehn, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive ophthalmology. Dr. Keehn grew up in Southern California. He earned his undergraduate degree in psychology with honors from North Carolina State University. Dr. Keehn then returned to Los Angeles and pursued two years of research at UCLA prior to gaining his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. After a one-year transitional internship at Charity Hospital of Louisiana, he completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Medical Center at Houston Hermann Eye Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Keehn has practiced ophthalmology in the Dallas area for the past thirty-three years. He enjoyed interacting with patients of all ages, occasionally four generations of the same family. Dr. Keehn was the Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, teaching residents for over twenty years. With over 30 years in practice, Dr. Keehn brings a wealth of experience to St. Luke’s at The Villages.
